The First Walk

I don’t know what is the feeling of being a father or a mother(biologically not possible) but one thing I know, is the feeling of love (being an emotional guy)!

For months, my family has been through one of their toughest phases as my mother got some early symptoms of Paralysis and had a primary issue with her spinal cord. She went on complete bed rest and with this, we did our best for her to get recovered and will be doing the same and even more, down the lane.
I think, my contribution was almost zero when I see my father 24/7 doing his best, being a great husband and a great father too.

My mother, who has been the brand ambassador of energy, work, and many more dimensions and went drastically down with her health. From 5–6 hours continuously in the kitchen to complete bed rest, she has witnessed this drift for the first time and was shocked and shattered with her physical weakness.

In my area, and I think almost everywhere in India, we take our women for granted until and unless some serious issue never occurs. I, myself some or the other way lies in the above category but I always try to do my level best for her.

My mother, like any other mother, is full of energy, workaholics and always looks forward to doing some housework, even if there is nothing to do, she looks for any work. Along with this, she handles every emotion of her family and tackles all the difficulties, and always ready for taking any work.
One very close friend of mine says:

MOTHERS are the real under-rated Entrepreneurs.

I second it. People look outside and find some inspiration or motivation from famous business tycoons or great leaders but I say, just recall all your mother’s risk-taking actions and never-give-up mentality and admire that beauty. With a smile on the face, she is ready for any battle. Wow, I hope I will have this calm and composed personality down the lane.

We always say: Jo Hota Hai, Achhe Ke Liye Hota Hai
(
Translate: Everything happens for a good reason”)
and till now I believe in it. This too, happened for many good reasons and with that many aunties are now concerned for their health. They stop being like a doctor now and if anything happens, they take it seriously. Now they are started taking rest in between the cooking process. And I hope, just like my father, their husband will start contributing to cooking as they both have to eat and not only one. 😜

I never expected that my mummy’s illness will shake the head of so many people and especially women. And that’s why “Jo Hota Hai, …

Coming to my mother’s condition, well she is getting recovered day by day and we all can see the improvement and for now, we just want her to get back to normal. That’s it.

Two days back, on Saturday evening, a regular one for all of us, we were keenly looking at her improvement and thought of taking her into the next stage, that is to take her off from the bed and make her walk. First 50 days, she was not able to pull her legs in any direction and yes, recovery was there but very deliberate. Since last week, we were witnessing the improvement in a fast pace and with that, we witnessed something, for which we have waited for more than 2 months.

This:

the first walk

Yes, that’s my mother, walking on herself with the walker. It happened on Saturday and for all of us, we stopped for a while and all of us went emotional and didn’t want to show the tears, as if tears are the counter of masculinity, but I didn’t care about that. I went emotional and hugged my mother from the back and with that, I understood how the parents feel when their babies crawl or walk for the first time.

This time, the kid felt the same emotion, when his mother walked for the first time after getting recovered.

BLISS.

SERENE.

ALIVE AGAIN.

That’s it.

At the end:

JO HOTA HAI, ACHHE KE LIYE HI HOTA HAI [Translate: Everything happens for a good reason]

I hope, you all are kind towards your parents and if not, please start rethinking about it, because they are the only one who think and care about you.

Thank you for taking out your time and do encourage me to write more by clapping. Comment down your thoughts, your disagreement, your appreciation, anything.
Keep up the great work and more power and love to you.

Few months back, mummy was cooking

Thank you !
